Fundraising Menu
If you donate to the general fund we will do our best to ensure that that donation is used in the best way possible toward furthering and sustaining our mission. If you would like to give in a way where you know tangibly what your money is accomplishing, you can select one of these donation needs. If you choose to give to Iglutheca’s ministries you have two ways to donate:
How to Donate
Direct (not tax-deductible)
Iglutheca is not yet tax-deductible. We are working on our 501(c)3 but until the application is approved by the IRS you may want to donate through the other option if you itemize your taxes. To give directly, make checks out to “Iglutheca” and send them to the following address:
P.O. Box 258
Oglala, SD 57764
Indirect (tax-deductible)
If you would like your donation to be tax-deductible, you can give it to our ministry partners at the Pine Ridge Reconciliation Center. Donations to them will be used to cover Iglutheca’s expenses as long as you put in the memo that they will go to Iglutheca. Make a check out to “Pine Ridge Reconciliation Center” and put “Iglutheca” into the memo line and send it to:

Monthly Giving Needs
Meals on Wheels
Need: 12 sponsors for 12 meals per month at $45 per meal
Meals on wheels takes money for the food budget and labor. At present Ruby does most of the work on her own and the meal help that she hires is very inconsistent in showing up. We feed 3 times per week, so we feed an average of 12 meals per month. Ruby is very thrifty and is good at finding free food, so our budget for the supplies and labor for meals on wheels is only $45 per meal. Most meals are prepared for 50-60 people, but the amount varies based on the weather and economic conditions.
Shower Trailer
Need: 4 sponsors for 4 shower trailer deployments per month at $67.50 per deployment
The day-to-day operation of the shower trailer is relatively inexpensive. The main cost is labor to run the shower trailer. If I can get the shower trailer fully sponsored I may be able to hire an extra worker to assist in its operation. Deploying the shower trailer and paying for the supplies costs about $67.50 per deployment. We currently offer the shower 4X per month
Bible Basics Class
Need: 4 sponsors for 4 Bible Studies per month at $58 per study
The Bible Basics class costs about $58 per outing for snacks and the time to prep for and teach the Bible Study.
Abram’s Salary
Need: 4 sponsors for 4 weeks of ministry per month at $350 per week
I am the executive director of Iglutheca. My monthly salary is set at $1400 per month. If you would like to sponsor one week per month of my work you can know that 1/4 of everything that I do (official Iglutheca business or otherwise) is made possible by you. That sponsorship means that all of the paperwork, planning, outreach, personal conversations, AA meetings, church volunteering, and any other ways that I serve Iglutheca or make the world a better place are your achievements as much as mine. ~Abram Neumann
Sponsor a Bed at the Homeless Program
Need: 12 sponsors for 12 beds at $932.75
The residential program at the homeless program is designed to give homeless individuals comprehensive support in beating their addictions and achieving stable housing. Your contribution would provide the following to a homeless individual:
A safe-comfortable living space
Healthy meals
An initial set of clothing
Hygiene products
Transportation to medical appointments, family visits, job interviews, first few weeks of employment, community-based bible studies, personal shopping etc.
Recovery support groups
Individuals case management
Accountability and encouragement
Life skills training
Recreation
Books and curriculum
And several other smaller things that would take extra space to explain.
A bed sponsorship will cost $932.75. This might be bigger than what an individual donor could handle on their own. We envision churches, small groups, or other organizations sponsoring this program. Once the program is running, we will send updates to the bed sponsors on the individual who is residing in that bed. The update will include the individual’s name, photo, future goals, and prayer needs if the resident of that bed is comfortable with us sharing this information. This way donors can tangibly know the impact of their work, and the guest in that bed will have a church or family that is praying for all of their needs.
